Travelling through the gates of!!!

I traveled from ORT to Addis to Heathrow with EA over the 26 June and 27 June 2013. It was literally the most traumatic experience of my life.

At the check in counter I was told that I would not be able to board unless I had my credit card which I made the booking with. I gave it to them without any hassle. I asked for an emergency exit seat because I am over 6 feet and its a long flight and the check assistant obliged. The flight was smooth and everyone or board was helpful and gracious except I was nowhere near an emergency exit seat and I was sandwiched between one over weight person and four sisters under the age of 8.

Got to Addis and the terminal is a mess without even a Burea De Change that is open. Thankfully most establishments take foreign currency like the Euro Pound or Dollar. They however convert it at the prevailing rate in their heads. It was most annoying and their are very little ammenities or clean toilets in the entire terminal.

On return they again asked to verify my credit card. From Addis to ORT they had overbooked the flights and about twenty people could not get on the flight. I was the last person allowed on the flight. I am completely appalled.
