DELAY IN BOOKING & EXTRA CHARGES

We went to Flight Centre Witbank to request a package for 9 people to Cape Town for the weekend. Nicole confirmed that she will do the booking on the same day, if we sent the proof of payment before 15:00. We made the payment & phoned the office to find out if they received the proof of payment. We were told that Nicole went home early. Paul checked & confirmed that the proof was received. Nicole phoned the next morning & told us that the price for the package was increased by R8000-00 due to the fact that the booking was not done the previous day. We asked her to get another quote. The quote was R2000-00 more than the 1st one. We paid the difference. With the 1st package we had a combi, but with the second one she arranged for 2 small cars for 9 people! She said that we could return the 2 cars for a combi at the airport. The rental agency advised us that we must pay R3000-00 extra! I requested Flight Centre to refund us with the R3000-00 as this was their fault. Caren phoned me today and admitted that they were at fault, but they will not refund us. I will never make use of them again and will make sure that I tell as many people as possible about the bad service.
