Issue with termination of contract

Why can't my contract be terminated?

For the last 2 years I have been paying my account through a debt collector company, but my account never goes down. When I asked about terminating my contract, I was told that it was a lifetime agreement, apparently by verbal agreement, which was never pointed out to me or stated in the contract. Will I now be blacklisted for the rest of my life?

I have never used my vacation points, because there is always some sort of issue with payment.

This complaint will probably also fall on deaf ears, but atleast I get the chance to warn others about the poor service
