Mango Specials - Are they real?

Mango announced that on the 4th June starting at 9am there would be special airfare rates for domestic flights within South Africa for travel in June. The only way you could book was via their call centre number, prices dependent on availability. My mother and I started calling at 9am and disappointingly it didn't even ring. I assume this was because of the mass of other people calling the same line. This continued however for the whole day. We were unable to get through at any time of the day and we continued trying throughout. Did anyone manage to get a 'SPECIAL RATE' ticket? Or is this a. Living away from home is hard enough without having providers tease you with good rates and then not delivering on what is advertised. If we were at least able to get through to someone, even if the good rates were sold out, however this number didn't put us through to anyone. I am highly annoyed and frustrated with Mango, and don't think that something like this is going to increase their customer retention or even attraction.
