I was planning my honeymoon and booked it independently via online bookings from various airlines and hotels.
I came across Africa Stay and they worked out a travel package, at the same hotel, that would cost me R1000pp cheaper even after all the cancellation fees.
I decided to go through with it and cancelled my flights and accommodation and re-booked through Africa Stay.
This is where the trouble started as the bookings became an issue, times and dates were getting mixed up and I had to correspond with three different people.
The first was incompetent and by the time the second and third person helped us the damage was done.
We had to change flights due to a request from the airline and I do not hold AfricaStay responsible for it.
However when we arrived at the hotel we booked in 1 day later than scheduled and had to check out 1 day
early, due to the schedule worked out by AfricaStay and not the airline change.
In the end we paid for two nights per person that we could not use at almost R1000pp per night as well as not receiving any of the honeymoon packets due to our late arrival.
I was not planning on saying anything but I thought people should know.
