On the 3 of April my parents applied for a new Cell C contract with the CellC Call Centre&the application was approved immediately. They were informed that their new iPhone would be delivered by the Monday 8 April. After not receiving the phone/being contacted my mother called them yesterday&was informed that the application has been closed as they are pensioners. The application was then resubmit&now a credit check will need to be done 1st. My Mom was informed that she should phone them back within 5 days to find out if the appli was successful. They went to the Cell C shop in the East Rand Mall today to try and find out what is happening and was told that they cannot be assisted they need to phone the call centre. Why was the application initially approved&even though my Dad asked if they need a payslip/bank statement and he was told NO it is approved. Why was the application just closed&no one notified & then 2weeks later when queried did they resubmit the application? My mother has been with MTN for 10 years&has cancelled her contract with them&will now be stuck without a contract causing even greater inconvenience. I am truly disgusted with how my parents have been treated
