POOR REPAIR SERVICE

My wife's Samsung B5510 Cellphone started freezing after about 7 to 8 months of use. Since 12 December
2012 we have had it working for about 3 to 4 days. It has been in for repairs (sic) 3 times and everytime it takes about 6 weeks to be 'fixed' just to freeze again a day or so later. Firstly why does it take six weeks to be repaired? A car's computer takes one week to be repaired. Secondly Autopage Springsgate where we bought it was not helpful, rather antagonism and irritability when followed up or brought back for repairs. I think a new phone should have been offered long time ago. We took delivery of the phone again on 13 April 2013 and after one received call it was unable to make a call again. I am reluctant to go the Autopage Springsgate route again.
