Good day - My father has been a Cell C customer for years on end now. He has always been a prepaid customer and really does not believe in contracts. He has taken notice that for a long time now, an amount of R50.00 in airtime value gets credited to his account, however a 10 second call now costs him between R2.00 to R3.00 rand per call whereas prior to the unwanted upgrade, it costed a pittance. Upon making enquiries and requesting that this his mobile option be changed to the initial agreement, he was advised that Cell C could not do this as the service provider contracted to Cell C (Retail Mobile services) be contacted to cancel same. WHY??? - Retail mobile services is not the services provider, Cell C is and now they shy away from his request -Utter nonse - Keep him as a customer before i get him ported to a preffered services provider. Choice is yours as you will be losing a valued customer that spends R 300.00 to R400.00 in airtime per month.
