I received a call from Nashua Mobile yesterday to inform me that my account payments are in arrears, except I DONT HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH NASHUA MOBILE! I was told that the account was opened in November 2012 and that my ID was used and an address in Cape Town was provided, but I live in JHB.

This just blows my mind because not only did someone manage to use a copy of my ID to open an account, but a representative from Nashua Mobile assisted this person by opening an account without requesting the originbal ID book as proof.

It is bad enough that we have people commiting on a daily basis but the fact that people representing companies are assisting them is just too much.

I really hope that Nashua Mobile does something about their staff and that measures are put in place to trace who opens which accounts and for whom.

This is extremely inconveniencing for me because I now have to prove my innocence to a company I have never even made contact with.

Extremely Annoyed!
