Paying for contract i'm unable to use

I live in Tuscany Ridge, Van der Hoffpark, Potchefstroom, I pay R1100/pm for two cellphone contracts i'm unable to use because of zero reception at my place of residents. I can barely send an sms from home and feel like I want to get out of the contract, is there any legal grounds to stand on to cancel the contract? they can take the phone if they please, but it is totally ridiculous to pay for something you cannot use. I have to walk or drive at least a kilometer from home to make urgent calls, and I work from home on the weekends.
