Cell C couldn't give a hoot about their customers

This complaint follows multiple attempts at getting feedback from Cell C regarding their poor network quality in and around Johannesburg. The contract was taken out in October 2012 and since inception, nearly 75% of all calls made or received (when there is coverage) has dropped. I have since requested cancellation of the contract after visiting Cell C Head-Office, e-mailing and requesting escalation to their Customer Service Desk [Email Removed] and [Email Removed] as well as taken to their Social Media channels on Twitter in an attempt to get someone responsible to acknowledge the request and close the account. Various complaints are surfacing regarding this yet Cell C is making no attempt at contacting me or the other users complaining about the ongoing service problems. It's as if their Customer Service desk just couldn't give a hoot. I think it's disgusting. If you're considering switching to Cell C due to their cheaper packages, DON'T. It will cost you a lot more to keep re-dialing, or try and reach someone in their customer service department who's actually willing to take responsibility.
