Vodacom
False advertising

Vodacom has a Gift Happy promo, that allows somoene to send a friend a gift, my son received one of those telling him he has free talktime from 8.00 till 9.59 in the morning. As he is 16 the person he wanted to phone was his girlfriend who was on holiday. They had an hours chat and then he was cut off when he went to check his airtime, the call had taken all his airtime R160. I phoned vodacom who informed me that the gift was only from vodacom to vodacom!! Where I ask you does it say that??? This is False advertising at its best. If Vodacom steals money from all its subscribers they will have Millions and just due to false advertising. This is very wrong and should be corrected, I would like his airtime returned but I know vodacom would never do that! It would be nice though. It would be the right thing to do. They my sons airtime for the month!! Really Bad!!
