I too have now fallen victim to this unethical company. Since September Mira Networks has unlawfully billed my cell phone account with close to R1000 via a subscription (Stormy Alerts) to which I have never subscribed or even heard of. I am the only user of my handset and do not subscribe to any services whatsoever. From all of the similar complaints I am now reading in HelloPeter I think that it is becoming clear that there is a serious action forthcoming from Mira Networks. I would like my money back please! I have reported this to WASPA, the SAPS and also have contacted Carte Blanche. I will also be approaching the small claims court after Chrsitmas. Mira Networks provides no option to speak to a person on their customer helpline, nor is the 011 number answered at all. It is time something is done about this company!
