Cell C
Sim card activatation

I got a new contract with Cell C yesterday, However today my sim card has still not been activated.
I call Cell c and i ask if they activate sim cards on weekends, the lady i spoke to didn't have an answer all she kept saying was call back on Monday when that department is open.
Al i wanted to know was are sim cards activated on weekends so i know how long i am going to be without a phone for. Please can someone help!
