Today is day 6. I 've been a loyal Vodacom Customer for 15 yrs. Appalled that I can't get SOME FEEDBACK?!
I asked for an UPGRADE, NOT another contract on my account.
I have spoken to numerous useless call centre agents who tell me the query has been logged. One agent even told me Vodacom will probably need to come fetch my new iPhone in order to "try to do an upgrade from scratch". (huh?!) I expressed the urgency, but of course, typical service - NOTHING.
Extremely fast to deliver a phone to take money off, but extremely slow when delivering service.
Today money came off my account (huh?!!) for this new contract that I said a week ago I DID NOT WANT, after expressing that not a cent should come off, the agent I told that to said "Mam don't worry there is time until the 7th of Decr. Someone will phone you". (Yes, you're welcome to go through all your recorded calls). Another agent also said: "Maybe also write them a mail? They usually respond quicker to that"?!!
Here is what you need to do:
1. REMOVE THE NEW CONTRACT & NEW PHONE NUMBER.
2. GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY.
3. Do the upgrade that was requested.
4. LET ME KNOW so I can then call to do a SIM Swap.
