On Tuesday, 19th November, I phoned Telkom's 0800 number to apply for a deal advertised in the paper. I was assisted by a lady called Zinhle. I wanted a Samsung S4 (Unlimited for R1499 to all networks).
She took my application telephonically and then send it off for approval after even asking me which address I would like the phone to be delivered to ie either home or work. Then I waited for approval as per her instruction. She then told me that she had submitted my application but could not see what happened to it. She further told me to phone in again as she had to go home and could not redo my application. This was quite upsetting. She did not even try to hand me over to another colleague or anything.

I would like Telkom to look into this matter and advise if this is how potential clients are treated.
