On the 10th Oct I took my Galaxy S3 to Vodacom Meyersdal as the sim card reader couldn't read my SIM card. The phone is one year old & in good condition. I was told the SIM card reader would be repaired within 10 days. Its now the 4th Oct and I have nowt been told that I have to pay R2000 to have LCD components (Screen) fixed. There was never anything wrong with the screen! After going in to Vodacom Meyersdal & spending 20 min on the phone with the repair centre in Cresta and Midrand I am told that the SIM card reader will not be fixed because of scratches on the top right hand corner of the phone. NO-ONE at Cresta, Meyersdal or Midrand can tell me what the scratches have to do with the SIM reader not working! NO-ONE can tell me why a fully functional screen needs fixing! But a lady at Midrand basically said that Vodacom will not honour a warranty if there are any scratches on the phone even though the scratches have NOTHING to do with the actual problem! I have been with Vodacom for 18 years and spend on average R1500 per month. I love the way you guys treat loyal customers, but by looking at your Facebook I don't think Vodacom actually cares about customers anymore!
