Misleading contract structure deprives ebucks

As most people might know, ebucks rewards you with 10% of your Nashua cellphone contract in ebucks.
ie a R400 contract will earn 400 ebucks which is the equivalent of R40

I've been a client of Nashua Mobile for over 5 years and have 5 current contracts averaging R1000 a month, and have thus far earned ebucks according to the rule above.

However, my latest contract for a galaxy S4 on cell-c straight up 100 costs me R400, but only earns 100 ebucks. The reason, I'm told, is that R100 is the contract cost, and R300 is the handset cost (therefore no ebucks on this portion).

I find this structuring very misleading, as most people will assume that the total cost of the contract is the amount eligible for ebucks.

The terms and conditions state that Value Added Services (VAS) are not eligible for ebucks, and Nashua has capitalised on this by considering the handset cost as VAS
