Cracked Digitizer that coast 50% value of product

Hi i have a Sony Xperia Z mobile the i drop and the digitizer cracked and due to this my handset lost sensor to touch but basically the product still works but i cant operate it due to this, the thing is been going around inquiring about repairs and the coast is about R 4000 to fix it i mean that's just a rip off that ill pay that much, I mean that's like 50% of what the handset is worth, below is chat between I and and one of their consultant.
