Cell C dont honour their 7 day guarantee

I renewed my 6 year long contract with Cell C by upgrading to a Samsung S4 Mini phone and was told that if anything goes wrong with the phone in 7 days we will replace it free of charge. The S4 Mini battery was first flattened as per instruction and then fully charged. It was placed in a pocket and the next time it was taken out, half the screen was not working. It was handed back and sent away to Cell C repair centre who have unilaterally declared it was physical damage in that the phone must have somehow been bumped or dropped!
No matter how many times I have written to Cell C and asked to talk to some manager, I get the answer that the phone must have been dropped WHICH IT WAS NOT! I don't get to talk to anyone at Cell C. My last written communication on the 20th Sept was specifically to ask if I could talk to a Senior Manager but I have received no response.
What must one do to get to talk to Cell C and to honour their & day guarantee???
