Suspected overcharge, lack of response

On the 26 July 2013 I received my monthly cellphone account (invoice 381963072013) from Altech Autopage Supercall Cellular. I could not help but notice one charge of R 1808.17 for 1080145 KB of GPRS.

Since I've had absolutely no luck with their call centre number - in fact it was impossible to speak to a human being at all - I managed to contact my former accounts manager here in Cape Town, who provided me with contact details for Janine Pierce at the Altech headoffice in JHB.

I e-mailed Mrs Pierce on the same day (26/07/13) to request an explanation.

1. What was the alleged internet use / download? Just because Altech says that charge is valid does not mean it is.
2. Why am I being charged at R 1808.17 for 1.2gigs when I could purchase a data bundle SUBSTANTIALLY cheaper.

I was advised that MTN would have to be contacted to obtain the requested information which was done on the 30/07/13 (REQ 2464651).
I had e-mailed Mrs Pierce on the 21/08/13 - no response
I called her on the 28/08/13 - request is still pending
I had e-mailed Mrs Pierce on the 17/09/13 - no response

Unless sorted out quickly, I will move my three contracts elsewhere...
