Cell-C and roaming just don't mix

If you ever want to leave the country and have roaming options that don't include you paying for everything (crazy prices I must add), don't have an account with Cell C.

I was enquiring the options for my mother as she was going on a business trip, the outcome:
-There are no options.

SMS roaming - not an option.

Even diverting your phone directly into your voice-mail to avoid receiving calls is not an option.

This leads me to one of two conclusions:

Either the tele-consultant has no idea what he's talking about, or Cell C inconveniently doesn't accommodate for a large client? le base that needs roaming without receiving calls.

Either way, the notion of switching to them for their cheaper minute rates has just gone out the window.
