I took out a contract with MTN and chose the deal that was suitable for me. I asked the necessary question that i needed to know at that time and what i could think of but the consultants did not reveal any info to me as to how the free airtime usage would take place. As to my knowledge the free aitime, sms, or data can be used anytime but the free sms, airtime as per the consultant can only be used from mtn to mtn, thats fine with me and i understood. The information which was not given is that you first have to use your normal airtime to any network finish and then when thats finished then only will the free mtn to mtn airtime and sms (which they also did not reveal to me that its only from mtn to mtn that you can sms) be deducted. This was very, very, very important info which they have fail to reveal to me... I phoned customer care and spoke to many consultants about it and even demanded to speak to a manager but just get disconnected before i can speak to then and some gave the message but no manager can back to me. I'm still waiting for anybody from MTN to explain to me how is it possible for trained staff to miss inform clients like this and what they going to do about it.
