IPhone 5 (baught in April 2013) developed battery issue and iStore recommended for the unit to be replaced since they have done a wipe and re-install and a diagnostics on the handset. I handed this job card to the Vodacare consultant (Ronnie). He attached this to the documentation when he opened a Vodacom job card. After 7 days, I was told to pickup the phone. Getting there this morning, they told me it was a software issue!!! I was EXTREMELY UPSET since the technician and who-ever he/she reports to either did not do their job, or they are incompetent in doing their job. So, now I left the phone there. Vodacom, do you realise how difficult it is to be without a phone, to take time off from work, to see how your people has no clue as to how they affect the Vodacom customer? Now I am told another 48 hours for a replacement! WHAT? So, it took you 7 days to do nothing to the phone, what are you going to achieve in 48 hours? Well I don't really care about the 48 hours, I wanted the job to have been done right by now with a new unit in my hand. Please make this right TODAY.
