What does Warranty mean?

I mean, Cell C really needs to get their act together. Your company cons someone into getting a contract with you and Bayport, when you do get the contract, literally 10 days later the phone breaks. So I take it in for repairs, and then a whole two weeks later get an SMS to say I need to pay R510 to have the phone fixed.

Now please tell me, what is the point of a warranty if I am going to pay for the phone to be fixed in any case?
This makes no sense at all, and then when you phone cell c or bayport they give you an attitude as though I owe them money. I expect excellent service from service providers, and this is way below the average service one gets. But then again... Cell C...

I want an answer as to whether you are going to fix the phone, that was obviously faulty, or are you going to cancel my contract without any penalties... or better yet Cell C... go the extra mile and give me a new phone, since seeing it was only 2 weeks old.
