I have been dealing on behalf of my wife with Vox Telecom to resolve her 3g dongle from Vox Telecom which stopped working.
After several calls to the technical department and account managers, we received a replacement unit, which did not solve the problem. We were unable to connect to the internet with our PC as it appeared that Vox Telecom had a different sim card number on file on their side, which is strange as the old unit stopped working and worked before. Even though the dongle was supposed to be Mac compatible it was not recognised by either of our Apple laptops and Vox Telecom was not able to supply us with an updated firmware.
It was suggested that we could look at closing the contract early, but when I put that request in writing it was denied by Vox Telecom as they did not see any reason for allowing this.
Other service providers offer a refund for periods where service was not delivered, but it seems Vox Telecom is uninterested in having happy customers.
It's probably one of the worst customer service experiences I had to deal with.
