Changed from BB to Samsung Please assist

I have changed my phone from a blackberry to an Samsung S2 now how to change my contract because on a blackberry you get the data on the bis, all i want to do is cancel the biss and load a data package on my samsung, this sounds easy but for some reason I battle to explain this to your call centre. I am fed up for phoning the call centre and to wait for how long to talk to someone who transfer you to someone else and then get transferred again and again. My contract with Cell C will expire in Dec 12, this makes me wonder if I want to renew it. Please can someone help me I will not pay for data that I use from the 1 July because I have been trying to sort this out since last week
