On then of 16th of March 2013 i upgraded my contract. I specifically told the consultant i want a morenaffordable package this time, so i dont go over my set limits per month. He helped me with everything and assisted me nicely, but he forgot to inform me of the most important thing. He never told me my new contract will only be activated at the end of March. All my previous six contracts with vodacom was activated the day i upgraded. i had no reason to think otherwise this time. Istarted using my phone under the impression i had 400 call minutes and 400mb available. At the end of April my cellphone was a THOUSAND rand more than usual. When i enquired about my account i was informed that i was still charged as per my old contract, causing me to exceed my limit. I really dont think its fair, and it has put me in a difficult financial position. They dont make a effort to explain all the aspects of your contract to you. They just let you sign a bunch of papers and try to get rid of you asap, so they can get to the next victim. The call cen referred me to the specific shop in Greenstone mall. I spoke to the manager (Victor), who promised he will come back to me. I am still waiting.
