We will not pay an upfront fee

We have been in contact with Guide from Virgin Active now for the last few weeks, and we have made it very clear that we are not willing to pat the upfront fees of nearly R900 per person (my wife and myself), to join your gym. Yes, we are Discovery Health Members and we pay over R6000 a month for our medical aid, and we have life insurance with Discovery as well. We have no problem in paying the montly prescribtion fees, but will not pay the once off fee to join a gym. We would rather spend that money and buy our own range of equipment bit by bit. What happened to the promotions that Virgin had a while back that Discovery members could join for free. Virgin you are a and i will even stop paying my cellphone contract and cancel my credit card, i have had enough of you guys!
