Shocking Experience trying to sign up!!!

Went to Virgin Active Durbanville to sign up with the gym. The sales person called Henrico was assigned to me. I told Henrico that I don't want to sign up if I have to sign a debit order because of bad experiences in the past. He insured me that I can pay monthly by EFT or cash. After completing 3/4 of the application on VA system, Henrico told me that I need to pay the R150 once off fee now. I had no problem with this and gave him my credit card to deduct. After the payment was processed I was told that I now have to give my banking details for the debit order. He told me their is no other way to complete the application, and I told him that is not what I wanted. I told Henrico then to cancel my application and refund my money. I was then told I have to wait till tomorrow to get my money because the admin person is not there.

I find this trick by the Sales Person to sign me up and then that I have to wait to get my money back totally ridiculous.

You have lost a future client (all my family and friends).

All new people that want to signup be aware of their tricks!!!
