At the end of September 2012 i visited the manager of the Cobble Walk branch of Planet Fitness to arrange for my transfer from the Soneike branch to the Cobble Walk branch. The manager, a Mr. Marlow informed me that the transfer would take 24 hours to be completed.
Following this promise i have on several occasions afterwards enquired to the progress of the transfer, as i could not be given a tag to enter the gym if i am not transfered and logged as a member. Each time i was informed that the transfer is in progress.
In December last year i phoned the Soneike branch again to complain and was laughed at by the front dest attendend who answered the call. When i asked to speak to the finance department i was told that she could not take my call at this time as she was counting money.
I then made an appointment with Ms. Lisa from the Cobble Walk branch on the 31st of December to discuss the matter. On arrival i was told by the receptionist that "Lisa took the day off and it slipped her mind that you are coming in".
I was then told to make another appointment and reapply for the transfer.
I now want to cancell my contract and join aother gym that actually cares about members.
