WHY AM I OWING

Some time last month in Bryanston shopping centre i got stopped by two guys who were promoting virgin active.they told me to sign up as the membership is free.

i agreed and when my account number was requested i told them i did not have it. The one guy Q said he can accompany me to the atm to get the account number.

he accompanied me and took my account number.

i was told that i will only start paying in Feb and they will call me later to explain the terms of my membership.

i never got a call from anyone from virgin active until today when i got a call from a David telling i owe R299 which was due in January.

I asked him how and explained to him everything that happened and he told me to consult the person that signed me up.

this is pure rubbish!!! HOW DO I OWE SOMETHING THAT WAS NOT EVEN EXPLAINED TO ME!!! HOW DID IT GET TO R299 if im still sitting here waiting for someone to call me and explain the rates and terms of the membership!!! HOW!!! HOW!!!
