Cancelled contract

Hi all

Im not happy with what happened to me today, after almost 5 yrs. i received a call at my workplace from the attorneys telling me i own planet fitness about R15 000 because my contract was not cancelled but i remember that i did cancel it not because of the premium or anything such related but because i was relocating and where i was going there is no planet fitness centre. Since 2008 they have never once tried to contact me only today they give the news that i owe them and they have nothing of my cancellation on the system.what a load of bull and they expect me to just agree and pay them as if i have R15000 under my pillow. And now of cause they are delaying in sending me "the statement" as i have requested the whole day from the attorneys. Its amazing how they manage to track e down now after all these years but they couldn't when i started 'skipping payments" in 2008, that is little too convenient, dont you think?
