Random Deductions Of Money For No Service

I signed up a 3 yr contract with Planet Fitness in Nov 2008 and they needed me to pay R400 (refundable joining fee and card fee) on the same in order to issue a membership card for me. After I have paid, the told me that they could not issue me a card but they will contact me and they never contacted me. When i contacted the in Dec 2008, they told me that they had a problem with the machine and they will come back to me. after, about six months I stopped the payment and they contacted me only to collect the money. When i raised the issue they were quiet and they decided to use NAEDO Track to get hold of money. Before this contract, they gave me a chance for 3 months and required me to pay R50 (refundable), 3 months later when i went to collect the R50, they told me that i cannot get it after 6 months. Today, 2013-11-25 I visited them, they told me to speak to my lawyers otherwise I am responsible of the contract. So, I owe Planet Fitness money for life regardless of any circumstances and whether they have infringed their terms & conditions of the contract.
