Planet fitness scamming people

I have a Gym contract. the gym burnt down about 6 months ago. they say they are busy fixing the gym for the last 6 months but at the same time they take money every month for a service that we cant use. now i see that Zone Fitness is moving in to the gym but at the same time planet fitness still takes money from all the contracts. i canceled my contract an yet the keep taking money after sending me a canclellation letter but still they took money. now that i want my money bake the do not respond. iv mad so money phone calls an emails but nothing. they a scamming people out of their money. how can they get away with this
