Conned into taking a longer term contract

I have been a member since 2006, my girlfriend wanted to join but was concerned about duration as she is on a contract job basis (she does not even want to take out a cell phone contract). I mentioned that there was an option for month to month basis which would suit her fine. After signing up the contract she was happy to know that she would be able to cancel at any point. About 6 months ago she tried to cancel as her contract came to an end and this is when she realized the sale's man conned her into a 3 year contract, I am disappointed as i recommend but as it stand i will rather refer people to Zone Fitness or Virgin Active
