I sent an e-mail to cancel my membership with Virgin in November as I moved too far away to make use of the facilities. Nothing was done. I spoke t Andrileen Conradie on 1 July requesting that my membership was cancelled and my payments since November refunded. I also forwarded the e-mail that I sent in November. Her attitude was not in the least helpful. She said that she will have a look at my e-mail and let me know what she will do. I have not received any communication whatsoever from her. It is shocking that a member should be treated in this way. I cannot stop the payment at the bank as Virgin puts the payment through as a purchase on my debit card.
I want my contributions since November to be paid back to me in full as well as the payment stopped.
I will also send a copy of my complaint to Discovery Vitality as they are the company that encourages people to make use of Virgin and this should be brought to their attention.
