It was fun

I went to the Grand opening. At Heidelberg rd I realised its going to be an interesting day. After slowly getting to the robot crossing I saw people already parking on the open space around the intersection. The parking space in front of Makro was filled and the space next to it was nearly filled as well. The guys with the yellow bibs tried their best to help but also realised space is limited.
I joined the cue (which was already 4x the length of the parking space in front of Makro plus 2x the width) at 07H25. Some people tried to jump the cue but were quickly corrected. The people around me were full of excitement and many comments were made during the time we patiently moved with the cue. It was only by about 11H30 that the cue became shorter. As we approached the entrance I saw a number of computer stations to verify TV licences. At 12H00 we entered Makro and I realised this is no place for people with a high intolerance level.
Inside it was clear that Makro did its best to serve the customers as well as possible and my compliments to the 'announcer', the staff (who started @ -04H00) and the helpers with the red bibs. You did an excellent job under immense pressure. Well done!!
