They dont do what they promise to do

Edcon debt collectors phoned me december last year and told me to pay a certain amount to clear my debt and if i pay it before the certain date i will get a discount and my name will be cleared..fine i paid the amount at jet and the consultant could'nt understand me and phoned headoffice to cornfirm.they said yes its the wright amount..they even phoned me ater the payment to tell me that its reflecting already..but when i go visit one of their stores they telling me that i still owe them money which i dont understand..and i get different stories each time i ask about my balance..i want to know what is going on and i want my name to be clean as i was promissed so.
