What a joke

Went to Edgars today to pick up my card, only to be told that they do not accept temporary id, this is an official south African document issued by the government. I have just used used this same temp id for my vehicle finance, cell contract and even my bank accepted it for my check account, how can Edgar think that they are above any other institutions. Jet stores are part of the edcon group and on their website it clearly states that they accept original and temp id. I phoned the customer services department to query if one could open an account with temp id and was passed to 5 different and every single one of them said That they didn't know.
