Lack of Feedback on Damaged Goods

Hello Peter
I bought bedroom furniture from Rochester Woodmead in November 2012 it was delivered in about one week before Christmas. Some items were damaged - one pedestal had a scratch on it and the chest of drawers had a dent. I informed my sales lady (Rene) about these damaged and she said she would follow up with the supplier in January because of the festive season holidays.
In January 2013 I struggled to get feedback from her - If I didn't call to follow up, she made no effort to keep me informed of how far my query was. She has since left Rochester.
I then went into the store to personally do follow up and another sales person - Bafana, promised to attend to my matter and assist in resolving it. It now April, I'm still waiting for feedback and still sitting with damaged furniture...
I'm really unhappy about the customer service that I've received.
