Rude and refusing to apologise

I had a terrible experience at the Ackermans in Jacaranda Center, Pretoria with a rude guy named Sazi. I went to exchange an item, I walked in & assumed I need to take what I needed and proceed to the till. He came towards me telling me that I can't walk in with that plastic. I asked him if it was okay for him to hold the plastic as I was in a rush and needed one thing. He obliged, but then told me with the biggest attitude that they did not have what I was looking for. I explained that it didn't matter what colour it was, I just needed a bigger size. This guy then started talking to me as if I'm stupid. When I told him there was no need to have a bad attitude, he just looked at me. I got to the till, and relayed my story to the store manager. The lady who was helping me apologized on his behalf. The manager said nothing, and Sazi stood there with his arms folded. Even after his collegues asked him to apologise, he just stood there. He was very rude and should be sent back to "Client Service School", because he clearly does not know how to deal with customers. I have in the past enjoyed my shopping with the pleasant ladies there. He is a bad apple, spoiling their good name.
