INSECT INFESTED LEGUMES WITHOIT EXPIRY DATES

Purchased various different types of legumes on the 08 Jannuary 2012-.only used the dhall but not the dry beans On opening the packaging of the sugar beans on the 24 March, discovered majority of the beans had tiny holes (infested).
Contacted the store, unable to assist, left a message to return call, to no avail. Took in the items for exchange, spoke to the supervisor, who blatantly refused to assist, then escalated to the owner, who was absolutely arrogant, rude and abrasive. His comments were, he had the business before I was born, he did not demonstrate any client centricity and was creating a scene in front of the other consumers. The items were purchased over the counter with a packed on date /kg .telephone number but no expiry date cited unlike the other retail stores that have the expiy dates cited There was a previous incident where the imported masala tea bags were also expired, he also refused to exchange the tea bags as he claimed it is out if his control, but my argument is you are sourcing and selling expired items. The rarionale was that they did not received any cpmplaints and why do I buy in bulk and can not use immediately.
