Empty Promises

I am writing not to so much complain about Dischem, as I love the stores, but rather to complain about one persons forgetfulness as it seems. On 27.02.2013 I had done some shopping at Dischem Hazeldean and bought two Simple Skin Care Products (face wash and rich moisturiser), Dischem had run a special that by a purchase of Simple products (two or more), you are entitled to a free make- up bag. As I was paying for my items, the cashie Miss. Nontokozo Ntombela (who was friendly and helpful), but had no idea the special was on and I had to point it out to her a couple times. After about the third try, she went over to the beauty counter and then back to me. She said that one of the consultants said that they are out of stock, but proceeded to take my name and cell nr to call me as soon as new stock arrives. It is now three weeks later and I have still not been contacted. If an item is advertised and I pay for the items in order to receive it, I expect to get it. More so when Dischem staff members promise to contact you. I usually receive great service from Dischem (Olympus is fantastic), but would appreciate someone to stand on their word from Hazeldean.
