I have been a customer at Edgars for more than 20 years.
Towards the latter part of 2012 Edgars demanded FICA info from me.
This was submitted to the Edgars in Melrose Arch on 14 Aug 2012 at around 11h00. At this time I was informed that the computers was offline but that it will be recorded.
I received another demand for FICA after this. This time the documentation was submitted to the Sandton branch on 30 October 2012 along with the detail of the attempt to submit at Melrose Arch. Once again I was assured that it would be sorted out.
On 27 Feb 2013 I received a SMS informing me that my credit limit was reduced due to my failure to supply FICA information.
Edgars seem to be incapable of recording a simple set of documents into their system
