I have been a loyal guess customer for many years. To my dismay the first ever problem was meet with a terrible customer service and bad attitude from the Eastgate branch. I did not feel like the loyal customer I have been. I purchased a sling guess bag in December 2012 together with a matching guess wallet. I used this bag once while wearing a pair of jeans. When I got home that evening the guess bag was completely damaged and discoloured along the side of the handbag as well as the strap. I took this bag to Eastgate within the 6 month return policy. They said they would try to clean it, when they could not clean it they said there was nothing they could do and that my Jeans had coloured the bag, a pair of Jeans which has been washed many times and does not run. I asked the manager how do you explain the discolouring along the inside of the strap which does not touch my Jeans.. He had no answer except he could not do anything. I have a pure white handbag at home also from Guess which I have worn with many outfits and never had this problem. Poor Quality bags are being produced by Guess. Guess does not abide by the customer protection act (poor quality) not their 6 month return poli
