Rotten Chicken and Bad Attitude

I bought chicken drumsticks and thighs from Pick n Pay, Highveld Mall, Witbank. When i got home to cook i found that the meat was rotten, smelly and had even turned green. Luckily the branch was still open so i took the meat back just before they closed. When i asked for help from 2 ladies at the counter they asked me if i couldnt see that theyve knock off i should stand in some queue. When i got to the lady at the counter the 1st thing she asked me why I hadnt checked the meat before i bought it? Does PnP regularly sell rotten meat and is it our job to check it? She eventually gave me my refund and there was not even a single apology. that was a traumatic and disappointing experience and i'm not going to PnP anytime soon.
