Stale Lunch Bar Chocolate

Dear Sir/Madam

I would just like to raise a concern regarding the Lunch bar chocolate I bought from a Kiosk in Cape Town. I bought the chocolate on the 08/01/2013. When I opened the chocolate it was covered in white and very flaky which indicated to me that the chocolate expired even though the expiring date on the wrapper says 24 May 2013 17:44 HSM424. The chocolate also tasted funny as I ate a piece to make sure it is really expired.
It was really disappointing to experience this as I was really looking forward to enjoying the chocolate after a long day at work.
