Bought rotten lamb for Valentines day

I bought a frozen lamb flank from Pick&Pay Benmore which had an expiry date of the 18th of Feb on the 13th and threw it inn the deep when I got home. Valentines evening (the next day) I defroze the flank in my Microwave and opened it, then there it in the pan to boil it a bit.
As it was boiling there was a strong pungent smell from my pot!! I took the lamb out of the pot and the whole thing smelt so bad... so rotten... my whole apartment reeked like.
It was rotten and the expiry date was the 18th...
NEVER BUYING MEAT FROM THERE AGAIN
