No CCTV and lying staffmembe

After I paid, I noticed my WW package was gone. I notified the cashier, Evah. She asked staff to walk through the shop to help look for it, which I appreciated. It was not found.
I asked if we could watch the CCTV footage, she advised recordings are kept at head office. I requested to phone head office, a few minutes I was informed the CCTV was broken. I left and went back later asking for the manager. No manager was on duty and Evah was in charge. I asked for head office's number, Evah advised the store does not have CCTV but she could not say that earlier in front of other customers. I was shocked! I again asked for head office's number and she said that she will lose her job. I insisted on the number as she already to me at least twice. Evah then searched for the number she "phoned" and hour earlier. no 3, she never called head office!
I am very upset that 1) my package gets in your store, 2) there is no manager on duty to handle the situation in an acceptable manner, 3) that a staff member, "left in charge" to me at least 3 times, and thinks that a "sorry" can resolve the matter, 4) that a staff member plays on my emotions saying she "will lose her job".
